EB-1A
EB-1A is a US immigrant visa for outstanding talents, suitable for individuals with outstanding achievements in science, art, education, business or sports. Applicants can apply on their own without employer sponsorship, and the approval process is fast, and they can directly obtain a US green card. If you meet at least 3 of the 10 criteria or have won an international award (such as the Nobel Prize or the Oscar), you can apply. It is suitable for top professionals, entrepreneurs, scientists, artists, etc.

EB-1C
EB-1C is an immigrant visa for executives or managers of U.S. multinational companies. It is suitable for people who have worked as executives or managers of multinational companies for at least one year and have been assigned to work in U.S. branches. Applicants must be sponsored by a U.S. company and cannot apply on their own. This visa is approved quickly and can directly obtain a U.S. green card. It is suitable for executives, managers or entrepreneurs of multinational companies.

NIW
NIW (National Interest Waiver) is a type of EB-2 occupational immigration in the United States, suitable for professionals who have made significant contributions to the United States. Unlike ordinary EB-2, it does not require employer sponsorship, can be applied for on your own, and does not require labor certification. Applicants must prove that their work is of national importance and that their contributions have substantial benefits to the United States. It is suitable for highly skilled talents such as scientists, researchers, and entrepreneurs.

EB-2
EB-2 is the second priority employment-based immigrant visa in the United States. It is suitable for professionals with advanced degrees (Master's degree or above) or outstanding abilities in science, art, and business. Usually, employer sponsorship and labor certification (PERM) are required, but NIW (National Interest Waiver) can exempt employer requirements and allow applicants to apply for green cards on their own. Suitable for high-level technical talents, researchers, and professionals.

EB-3
EB-3 is the third priority employment-based immigrant visa in the United States, suitable for skilled workers, professionals and other workers. Applicants must be sponsored by an employer and pass a labor certification (PERM). Compared with EB-1 and EB-2, the application threshold is lower, but the waiting time is longer. It is suitable for professionals with a bachelor's degree, skilled workers with at least two years of work experience, and unskilled workers without special skills.

EB-5
EB-5 is a US investment immigration visa for foreign investors who wish to obtain a green card through investment. Applicants must invest a minimum of $800,000 (targeted employment area) or $1.05 million (non-targeted employment area) and create at least 10 full-time jobs. No employer sponsorship is required, and it is suitable for entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals who wish to live and develop in the United States for a long time.

Family Immigration
Family immigration refers to the way that U.S. citizens or green card holders apply for U.S. green cards for their spouses, children, parents or siblings. U.S. citizens can apply for their immediate family members (spouse, minor children, parents), there is no quota limit, and the processing is faster. Green card holders can apply for their spouses and unmarried children, but they need to wait for the waiting time. This category provides a legal immigration channel for family reunification.

Political Asylum
Asylum is when a person who faces persecution in his or her own country due to race, religion, nationality, political views or a particular social group applies for protection and legal residence in the United States. Applicants must submit an asylum application (I-589) within one year of entering the United States. After asylum is approved, you can apply for a green card one year later and bring your spouse and children with you to obtain status.

Identity conversion
Change of Status (COS) refers to changing from one non-immigrant status to another in the United States (e.g., from an F-1 student visa to an H-1B work visa). Applicants must submit an application to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and complete the change within the validity period of their status. Change of status does not require leaving the country, but in some cases, you may need to apply for a new visa through a consulate.
